I'll sit with you, rest by your side as the Acer in summer's lap. Doted upon by pillars of gold cast through mirrors in your smile.
And just watch you, sit in this moment, sway idly like the limbs on spindling trees, reaching for a bosom.
I'll be there, closer than your heartbeat, to plant the seed of love and nurture it till blossom.
I have a gorgeous Acer tree, in my back garden, which I love dearly. I salvaged it from a shop. It looked like it was dying and crying out for help. Leaving it there was not an option. I always wanted an Acer, so I took it home, nurtured it and now it is flourishing. It has beautiful scarlet leaves, which show up magnificently against the different coloured green foliage of the garden. Here is a photo of it.
My eldest son, wrote a poem about it, after I had painted it. Here is the painting with the poem. Enjoy :) :)
I am a self taught artist who loves and appreciates art and photography. Both capture moments of life with great meaning and beauty.
