A Flowers Impression

Hey everyone, I hope this week has treated you well. I am just posting another painting that I did a while back in the series of poured paintings.

Another lovely one where the colours bleed into one another forming interesting shapes that look to me like brightly coloured flower petals, yeh I know go figure. This also reminds me of a flower I saw at the Eden Project in Cornwall UK, it was yellow red and frilly. Here is the picture I took of it. If you like you can buy a print or card from my website on Fine Art America. Here is the link below.

If anyone knows the name of this, can you please tell me because I have been looking on the internet for it and cannot find it anywhere. You can leave a comment or email me the name, I will be most grateful and will sleep soundly :)

I have named this painting 'A Flowers Impression'.

Have a wonderful week.

Love and Peace

Samira :)

It's a parrot tulip, but I don't know the specific name of that variety.

Thank you so much Kathie for taking time out to reply to my comment and helping me out. People have asked me the name of this flower and I have been unable to answer their question. I can sleep well now. XX

Beautiful flow and movement of colours, Dear Samira! Like your way of expressing the spirit of flower... painting reveals invisable layers hidden in nature!

Samira its an amazing painting, A Flowers Impression. Flowers enclosed in such paintings, the idea is nice. Appreciated!

Thank you Andoreza, I had so much fun painting this one. I especially love the way the colours merge into one another and the points at which they mingle remind me of flower petals. :)

I am a self taught artist who loves and appreciates art and photography. Both capture moments of life with great meaning and beauty.

A photo or a piece of art can set off all kinds of emotions. I believe that looking at paintings and images can promote healing too, a form of colour therapy.

Anyway, I hope my vision of my time on this planet can give you all some form of joy.
